Heil- & Energie Retreat an der ursprünglichen Nordküste Balis
Bondalem, Indonesien

For 43 hours, you leave ordinary life behind and step into a completely different world at the frozen edge of Estonia.
You’ll ride snowmobiles and sleighs across the vast white landscape of Lake Peipus, join local fishermen to pull nets from beneath the ice, and build a camp out on the frozen lake. When the cold has properly found you, you’ll step into the heat of a sauna standing right on the ice — then gather around the table for homemade local food, fresh fish, stories, and long conversations.
But this experience isn’t really about ticking activities off a list. It’s about slowing down, getting your hands dirty, trying things you’ve never done before, and discovering how quickly everyday worries disappear when life becomes beautifully simple: ice, fire, food, nature, and good people around you.
There is a plan, but nature always has the final word. Weather, ice, and the lake shape each experience, so no two weekends are ever exactly the same.
You arrive curious. You leave with stories.

Tucked away in Vasknarva, a tiny fishing village at the eastern edge of Estonia, our retreat offers something increasingly rare: a chance to truly disconnect from the outside world.
Surrounded by wild forests, the vast Lake Peipus, and the Narva River, this is a place where nature sets the rhythm. In winter, the lake transforms into an endless frozen landscape, the village becomes wonderfully quiet, and life slows down to the essentials.
Our accommodation is warm, cozy, and unpretentious — a welcoming place to return to after a day of adventures on the ice. Expect comfortable beds, simple local charm, shared meals, good conversations, and the kind of peaceful atmosphere you rarely find in busy destinations.
What makes this place truly special isn't luxury or fancy facilities. It's the authentic way of life around it. Local fishermen still work beneath the ice, traditional saunas bring people together, and homemade food is prepared from ingredients connected to the surrounding land and lake.
You're not simply staying somewhere beautiful. For 43 hours, you're becoming part of a completely different world.
The real luxury here is everything you leave behind.
Our table is all about honest, hearty local food — fresh fish from Lake Peipus, locally sourced meat, homemade pickles, preserves, and simple dishes made for cold winter days. Nothing overly fancy: just generous, authentic food that connects you to the place, its traditions, and the people who live here.

14:00 — Check-out & Departure
Forty-three hours after arriving, it is time to leave the Edge behind — usually with a few stories you did not have when you came.
